Immersed in brand culture and passionate about the role brands play in our lives, I
decided to take things up a notch. I founded aHeadLand to work directly with my
clients. The goal? To lead them ahead of tomorrow.
But that's not all. I've got an ethical side too. I founded the PopMoms mobile app that
allows parents in the same neighborhood to help each other for free. It's about
community, support, and making the world a better place, one neighborhood at a
time.
When I'm not busy being a brand whisperer or fostering community spirit, I like to
share my wisdom through articles on luxury, marketing, and innovation. I’m also a
lecturer at the IFM (Institut Français de la Mode).
Oh, and I even tried my hand at
becoming a best-selling book author with the first book on luxury and new
technologies
(“LE LUXE ET LES NOUVELLES TECHNOLOGIES”, éditions Maxima)
My interests? They're as varied as my career. Sociology, art, and science all tickle my
fancy. My unique perspective comes from the delightful mishmash of experiences I've
collected over the years. So, whether you call it diverse, downright quirky, or
beautifully ethical, it's what makes me a true visionary in this wacky world of
innovation and brand strategies.
Well, they say I was born in Africa, but with a family tree that's as mixed up as a bag
of jigsaw puzzle pieces. I've got a whole of French in me, a dash of Canadian, a
sprinkle of Lebanese - and I spent my early years hopping around four continents just
to keep things interesting. As a kid, I was the sci-fi enthusiast dreaming of spaceships
and far-off galaxies. Little did I know that this childhood curiosity and the whirlwind of
cultures and places would lead me to a tech-driven, global career.
Throughout my professional journey, I've worn many hats. I started as a
Designer/Editor at J.W.T. in Brussels, then took the bold step of founding my own
advertising agency, Encre Noire, in Montreal. I even tried my hand at being the
French Creative Director at Prisme/Bozell Canada and played the role of a Strategic
Planner at D'Arcy in Paris. Sounds like a handful, doesn't it?
But it was when I became an Associate Director at the brand consultancy Republic of
Ideas in Paris that things got even more interesting. That's where all those eclectic
experiences blended together into a fascinating, multi-faceted brand expertise. I've
helped big names like Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot, figure out their future,
deciphering paradigm shifts and shedding light on emerging factors that would
influence needs, dreams and status.
